Rebuilding a historic program.
Serving the Buffaloes.
Arizona Boosters Foundation has partnered with Tempe High Buffaloes football since 2025 — securing corporate sponsorships, funding operations, and building community investment around one of Arizona’s storied high school programs. Led by Coach Sean Freeman, the Buffaloes compete with discipline, integrity, and purpose.
Tempe High Buffaloes Football.
The Tempe High Buffaloes field varsity, junior varsity, and freshman teams, serving a diverse student-athlete population in one of Arizona’s most competitive high school football landscapes. The program has history, tradition, and the kind of community ties that make high school football matter beyond the scoreboard.
Under Coach Sean Freeman, Tempe High is focused on rebuilding and stabilizing the program. Coach Freeman’s approach blends accountability with mentorship — players are expected to show up, work hard, and represent their school with integrity on and off the field. That standard doesn’t waver.
Arizona Boosters Foundation identified Tempe High as a program with real need and real potential — and has been working to close the resource gap that separates programs that compete from programs that thrive.
“Players are expected to show up, work hard, and represent their school with integrity on and off the field.”
Seven ways ABF backs the Buffaloes.
Arizona Boosters Foundation doesn’t write a check and walk away. We identify funding gaps, align community resources, and build infrastructure that sustains the program long-term.
Strategic Nonprofit Support
ABF identifies funding gaps specific to the Tempe High program and aligns community resources to fill them — giving the coaching staff a partner that understands athletic program needs.
Corporate Sponsorships
We secure funding from local businesses and community partners to cover equipment, uniforms, meals, and operational expenses so the program can run at full capacity.
Fundraising Initiatives
Community-based fundraising programs and local business partnerships generate consistent revenue for the program — reducing dependence on school-district budgets alone.
Community Engagement
ABF works to increase visibility, game-day attendance, and volunteer participation — building the kind of community investment that sustains a program across seasons.
Program Operations
Team meals, special events, and game-day support are all coordinated through the ABF partnership — giving athletes and coaches the operational stability to focus on football.
Equitable Access
ABF advocates for football’s role in mentorship, academic accountability, and positive youth development — ensuring every student-athlete has access to the program regardless of financial background.
Long-Term Framework
The partnership is built for sustained growth — positioning Tempe High football for long-term community investment and continued development beyond any single season.
Accountability. Mentorship. Culture.
Coach Freeman’s approach to building Tempe High football is grounded in three core values that go well beyond the game.
Show Up. Work Hard.
Every day, every practice, every rep — players are held to a consistent standard of effort and personal responsibility. Discipline isn’t a rule; it’s the culture.
Accountability With Care
Coach Freeman blends accountability with genuine mentorship. Players aren’t just expected to perform on the field — they’re supported as students and as people.
On and Off the Field
Representing Tempe High means representing the community. Trust, resilience, and teamwork are the standard — both during competition and long after the final whistle.
